The Challenge

Our esteemed customer, a leading specialty plasma-derived biopharmaceutical company, is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation, development, and commercialization to save lives and enhance the quality of life for people. In their mission, steam plays a crucial role, utilized for heating, cleaning, and pure steam generation. The challenge lay in the fact that the steam was produced using an 850 Kg/hr vertical boiler running on High-Speed Diesel (HSD), a conventional fuel source that came with its own set of economic and environmental implications.

The NetZero Solution

Armed with a vision to convert liquid fuel to clean, sustainable fuel, NetZero Energiez tackled this challenge head-on. Our end-to-end engineering solution involved the conversion of the existing HSD-fired burner to an LPG-fired burner, a transition that brought about transformative changes. The NetZero team recommended an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) System equipped with a two vaporizers and PRS (Pressure Reducing System) having 100 % redundancy to ensure continuity of supply and ease of maintenance in a round the clock working environment and meticulously replaced the HSD -fired burner with an LPG-fired burner complemented by a secondary gas train.

The shift to LPG resulted in lower carbon deposits inside the oven for our customer, reducing the frequency and costs associated with maintenance.
  • Zero Pilferage of Product: LPG's sealed container storage mitigated the risk of pilferage, ensuring every ounce of product was utilized as intended.
